FAQs
This is pre-owned equipment that is thoroughly checked before sale rather than offered as an untested as-is unit. Each used system goes through a multi-point function test, defect inspection, and performance check before it is listed, with missing components replaced as needed.
The HiPer Lite+ is offered as a complete RTK system rather than as a standalone receiver, with the base-and-rover configuration built around integrated GNSS antennas and internal 915 MHz radios. The exact accessories included with the available used package should be checked against the current listing configuration before purchase.
Yes. The HiPer Lite+ was designed as an integrated dual-frequency GPS/GLONASS RTK system with internal radio and Bluetooth communications. It is an older platform, so compatibility with your current controller and software is more important to verify than with newer GNSS receivers.
Yes. The system was designed for base-and-rover operation, with the internal 915 MHz spread-spectrum radio providing the correction link between compatible receivers. Its integrated design avoids the separate external radio and antenna hardware required by some older RTK setups.
Topcon’s published specifications give approximately 10 mm + 1.5 ppm horizontal and 20 mm + 1.5 ppm vertical RTK accuracy under the stated conditions. Actual results depend on satellite geometry, correction quality, multipath, baseline conditions, and field procedures.
Battery condition is particularly important because this is an older used system, and actual runtime can be lower than the original specification as batteries age. Topcon originally specified up to roughly 19 hours with the radio off and shorter runtimes when transmitting, depending on radio power and operating mode.
The receiver supports Bluetooth and serial communication, but compatibility depends on the controller, field software, and supported Topcon drivers. For a used unit, confirming your exact controller and software combination before purchase is more reliable than assuming compatibility from the receiver’s communication interfaces alone.
