Unit History

This specific unit was used by a construction contractor, before being traded in towards a new Hemisphere S631. The unit was used as a network rover for several years before being traded in. As a result that are quite a few cosmetic dings and scratches, but the unit is in otherwise excellent condition. It is working perfectly. The data collector is in similar condition but also working perfectly. The data collector comes with a new charger.

Trimble has built their reputation since 1978 on providing innovative and advanced geomatics products. They have produced many of the firsts in Geomatics, that have pushed the industry forward. They manufacture a number of different products, including GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, field and office software, and BIM software packages. Trimble’s technology has made an impact across a number of different industries, including agriculture, construction and transportation.

Trimble is based in Sunnyvale California, meaning that your support and service is based in the US. The support agents speak your language and are able to help you in your time zone. On top of this many of Trimble’s products are assembled in North America, a fact a lot of other manufacturers cannot claim.

The Trimble R10

Data Collector and Software

The Trimble TSC3 is one of Trimble’s most popular data collection solutions. The TSC3 is the rugged handheld data collector, that is designed to make fieldwork as easy as possible. With the large full screen display that makes reading in the sun and the dark, it is easy to navigate around and read the available information.

With the fully keyboard, data pick-up is also exceptionally easy. The Trimble TSC3 runs Windows Mobile, allowing you to install many of your favourite surveying applications including Trimble’s Access and MicroSurvey’s FieldGenius.

Trimble Access offers a wide range of Trimble instruments and can be used for a variety of different applications, including; survey, construction, mining, monitoring and more. It is designed to provide a flexible, efficient and easy to use data solution.

Used Equipment at Bench-Mark

All of our Bench-Mark used equipment is rigorously tested to ensure that it is still working optimally. We test every piece of equipment to ensure that still meets the expected specifications of when it is new. All used recievers are updated to the latest GNSS firmware, and are range tested to ensure that the radios are still producing the expected range. We test the radios over a 2 mile no line of sight baseline to ensure that they work as expected.

For all used total stations, we ensure that the instrument is shooting accurate values on both faces of the instruments. We also test the batteries to ensure that they hold their charge, and if they do not meet our standards, new batteries are sourced to replace the existing set. Finally, we get our tech to test the accuracy, and adjust the instrument to ensure it meets specifications.

The final step we take before selling any used equipment is a thorough cleaning, and replacement of any broken or damaged parts. Just because equipment is used does not mean it should be bruised and battered. With all of our used equipment we replace any broken parts including enclosures, antennas, buttons and more. We want your used equipment to seem like it is new and you are the first owner.
