It’s an add-on, not standard. The base Mesa 4 configuration doesn’t include hot-swap capability, “Hot Swap Battery” is listed separately under Custom Build Options on the quote form. If running out of battery mid-session without powering down matters for your workflow, make sure to select that option when requesting a quote rather than assuming it’s included.

It’s assembled in the United States, which is a real factor if you’re bidding on federally funded infrastructure or DOT projects with Buy America requirements, many competing rugged tablets are assembled overseas.
