There is nothing worse than arriving in the field and realizing you do not know how to do something. You set all of your RTK equipment up, are all ready to begin the survey and then with a sudden sinking feeling, you realize that you have forgotten how to move forward. Team Viewer

When in the field it can sometimes be difficult to understand someone on the phone who is trying to walk you through something on the phone. That is why we offer Team Viewer support to all of our customers. No matter where you are, as long as you can create a hotspot from your mobile phone, we can take over your tablet and in real time take control of your tablet to fix your problems. By taking control of your tablet, you can in real-time see what is being changed and how to fix your current problem. With Team Viewer we can ensure that you get up and running as quickly as possible.

Online Training

We understand that learning new software can be intimidating. That is why offer Zoom training with every new RTK system. At 9 am MST every Tuesday we offer training on FieldGenius live over Zoom. On the Zoom call we run through a start to finish setup in FieldGenius and show you all of the common functions you may need in the field. Everything from Group Codes to offsets are covered, all within the space of an hour. And on top of that, as we are running through everything with a base and rover setup of our own you can follow along in real-time with your own equipment. By following along, you can stop the call at any time to ask questions you may have and avoid any confusion in the field.

Cheat Sheets

The last thing to check before beginning a static session, are your receiver settings. It is important to ensure that your settings aIt is never easy to learn a new software. We get that, which is why with every RTK system we sell you get a comprehensive setup cheat sheet. Before any system is sent out the door, we check and make sure we can get a fixed solution and that everything is paired to the data collector. However, it is also important to ensure that you know how to setup everything yourself. With every system there is a cheat sheet that walks you through pairing the system to the data collector to getting your first fix. With this cheat sheet you can get up and running out of the box in 15 minutes.

Qr Code

Every system we send out the door comes with a sticker attached to the case, upon which contains our phone number and a QR Code. With the phone number you can dial our office to get live support to help you solve any problems you may encounter in the field. Whether you need a hand setting up your base and rover, or you need a hand getting a fix, we have the knowledge and how to experience to get you up and running. It is however the QR code that is the interesting part of the sticker. To see what our QR code has to offer, simply scan the QR code in the picture below with the camera app on your phone or your favourite QR code scanner. What you’ll see is a link to a folder with all of our training documents inside. There is everything from a cheat sheet on how to setup your base and rover up to how to take static data. All of these cheat sheets are available to you in the field, even if you forget your cheat sheets in the office.
