Description
Juniper Systems
Juniper Systems has been one of the premier survey and rugged data collector manufacturers since their inception in 1993. They have been providing the toughest data collection solutions on the market to a variety of different applications including: agriculture, construction, mining, forestry, surveying, mapping and more. Juniper has built their data collectors to withstand the most difficult environments, whether that is a combat zone, a construction site, or whatever you can throw at it.
Juniper has prided themselves in providing an American solution with headquarters and manufacturing facilities based in Utah. From their Utah facility, Juniper has produced some of the most popular and iconic surveying data collectors on the market. This includes the legendary Carlson Surveyor 2, Juniper’s own Allegro 2, the Mesa 3 and the Archer family of products. Juniper is not just focused on surveying, with a host of innovative mapping, agricultural and even inventory tracking products. Whatever your application, if you need a data collection solution, Juniper has a product for you.
The Easy to Use Compact Solution
The Geode from Juniper systems is designed to be as compact and lightweight as possible. It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and can be attached to any camera 1/4″ thread or survey 5/8″ thread. This makes it exceedingly easy to find a solution that works for you.
The Juniper geode is designed to be as easy to use as possible. This extends to the compatability of the receiver with data collectors. Unlike a lot of other GNSS receivers the Geode is fully compatible with all the major data collector operating systems, including IOS, Android, and Windows. With a variety of compatible apps on the operating system you are already familiar with.
The Geode is fully compatible with many of the most popular GIS software packages including ESRI, FieldGenius and Juniper’s own Uinta. You can interface directly with Geode using a serial cable or pass NMEA strings over Bluetooth.
Rugged, Accurate, Reliability
The Juniper Geode sports an IP68 water and dust proof rating, and is fully sealed against water and dust ingress. You can take the Geode onto any site and be confident that it will stand up to any test.
The Geode is a 7th generation RTK receiver with the ability to receive signals from all of the major constellations including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo. The upgraded reciever is also multi-frequency capable allowing for better performance under canopy.
The Geode also has the ability to also receive Hemisphere Atlas corrections. With Atlas corrections you can acheive standalone accuracies of 8 cm (95%). With multiple different activation lengths and accuracies available, the Geode can be made to work for you.
